Recently,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the"Recommended Catalogue of Energy Saving Mechanical and Electrical Equipment"and the"Energy Efficiency Star Product Catalogue",which cover 436 models of 11 categories of industrial boilers,transformers,motors,compressors,refrigeration equipment,fans,heat treatment,and other products.
For every one percentage point increase in motor energy efficiency in the industrial sector,an annual electricity savings of 26 billion kilowatt hours can be achieved.By promoting excellent motors and carrying out energy-saving renovations on the motor system,the overall efficiency of the motor system can be improved by 5 to 8 percentage points.
